Dear ChattersNet users,
We are conducting essential maintenance on our primary server (irc1) to significantly enhance the reliability, stability, and performance of our network. This maintenance is part of a large-scale upgrade to efficiently support the increasing number of users and activities on our platform. We are proud to announce that ChattersNet has recently surpassed 2000 concurrent logged-in users, placing us 32nd globally among the largest chat networks. The scheduled maintenance will take place in the Europe/Amsterdam time zone (GMT+1):
During this period, the ChattersNet webchat and IRC services will remain operational via our backup servers (irc2 and irc3), albeit in a significantly reduced state. This means:
Importantly, the cam functionality will remain fully operational during the maintenance, allowing uninterrupted usage.
These limitations may cause some inconvenience but are necessary to ensure the continuity and future stability of the network.
After completion, the new irc1 server will operate on an advanced redundant cluster with high availability (HA). This provides several benefits:
These upgrades will ensure ChattersNet remains one of the most stable and reliable chat networks globally.
Separate maintenance will also be performed for RadioRoom streaming services. This maintenance is scheduled as follows:
During this time, radio streams will experience temporary interruptions:
Important: Changes made to streams (such as adding DJs or updating AutoDJ playlists) between 01:00 AM and 05:00 AM will not be saved. RadioRoom Pack users will receive a separate email with detailed information about this maintenance.
These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best user experience. With these improvements, we continue to expand and enhance our network and services at no additional cost to our users. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this necessary maintenance.
